It was early in the 1950's in the small town of Canal Winchester, a small distant village south and east of Columbus Ohio. The days drifted by in the post-war economy which had brought a flurry of growth to the area.
Many small businesses made up this town. They were family-owned and served the area with traditional values. Solt Ford was a small auto mobile dealership in this town. They were completely content with selling a handful of Ford cars and trucks to the surrounding community.

Fred Ricart (Son of the founder Paul F. Ricart) left his mark on Central Ohio and the Automotive industry with some imaginative TV commercials! The creativity in his commercials allowed Fred to achieve the status of "celebrity" and his "aw-shucks" attitude gave him an approachable persona. Add to all of this, his scientific approach to production and placement, and you have the recipie for success!
Here is a scrapbook of just a few of the countless spots that Fred produced from the 1980's trough the early 2000's when he decided to retire and be a grandpa to the 4th generation of Ricart Automotive kids!

 Fred cruised the streets of Central Ohio and jammed out with explosive tunes! |  Fred claimed to "Deals with low payments" on this spot played at halftime of the BIG National football game. |  The girls reminded Fred..."Please don't sing!" |
 Lynne claimed that it was "OK to be Picky" in this shopping country-style TV spot |  Fred put on skates and dawned an "extended" neck Fender Guitar for this Goalie spot during the 94 Olympics |  "Chuga Chuga" Fred yelled to get the actors in time with his musical version of the Ricart Junction |
 Singing a favorite old-time classic song, Fred and Lynne put the Ford T-bird on center stage! |  Fred had a mean wipe-out in this spot but didn't miss a beat as he rolled out of the fall and says "We're Dealin" to the camera! |  Lynne did the obstacle course for this series of Olympic TV spots |
